The UTA11 Course for 2021 is changing to a loop which starts  and finishes from the race hub at Scenic World.

The new course has more much more undulating and mostly runnable firetrail. There are some steep pinches in the firetrail which will have most people walking for short bursts, so some hiking up steep hills would be training to help condition your calf muscles.

There is a long stair descent down  the Golden Stairs followed by a relatively short technical section over an area called the "landslide"

and you will still be lucky  enough to finish up the 951 Furber Stairs!.
